Ilya has built a successful career in commercial real estate brokerage spanning twenty years, earning prestigious honours including REMAX Commercial's Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement awards. These distinctions reflect his unwavering commitment to excellence and the exceptional value he brings to every client engagement. Ilya also leads a high-performing brokerage group that is consistently ranked among REMAX Commercial's Top 25 commercial real estate teams worldwide.
In addition to his transactional success, Ilya has served the industry as a trusted former advisor to the Real Estate Council of Alberta and as a respected speaker and instructor for the Calgary Real Estate Board and REMAX's international conference. Since 2025, he has also been named to CREi's list of the Top 150 LinkedIn Influencers in Commercial Real Estate.
Ilya's professional credentials are further strengthened by an MBA with Distinction from one of the world's leading business schools at Durham University. This academic foundation enhances his strategic perspective and supports a sophisticated approach to complex real estate transactions. Ilya has also earned the coveted CCIM designation from The CCIM Institute, which awards it selectively only to individuals who have completed advanced coursework and examinations in financial and market analysis, while also demonstrating extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. Before entering commercial real estate, Ilya spent a decade in marketing management and proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces. These formative experiences instilled in him a strong foundation of discipline, leadership, and strategic acumen, qualities that continue to shape his professional approach. Ilya also remains committed to community involvement through organizations such as Shriners International, aligning his work with a broader ethos of service and integrity.
